“My two sisters and I were raised by my father and as a single parent he could not afford to take us to the dentist. I received my first prophylaxis at the age of 22. It was during this visit I discovered I’d been brushing my teeth incorrectly my whole life, that I grind my teeth, that even though I didn’t eat candy my diet high in carbohydrates made me an extreme cavities risk and due to all these things my teeth and gums had already suffered permanent damages.”
She believes strongly her attention to detail and genuine care for each of her patients gives her a sense of meaning. She knows each day we are gifted on earth provides us the opportunity to positively affect another person’s life. Glenda passionately pursues dental hygiene keeping up with new treatments and educational requirements. This ensures that each patient she meets is given excellent individualized care with knowledge to improve home care and overall health.
